Would the power output from a Dell 6224P switch be of the correct voltage and polarity to power a PicoStation2? I see specs on the PicoStation for it's POE injector, but it's not clear what voltage range the radio itself needs to see.
I'll bet the Dell as 48 volt PoE, the Pico will max out around 24 volts.

That's what I was afraid of. I just can't figure out why so many manufacturers deviate from the POE spec...

Proper standard PoE requires a lot more expense including isolated switchers and stuff. why bother.. its for those who live in cisco land mainly.
